Foam plugs make highway wind manageable but muddy navigation prompts. Has anyone found a repeatable fit with filtered plugs, or is properly inserted foam still the answer?

Filtered custom plugs were worth it for me. Speech is clearer, but wind noise is still reduced enough that I am not exhausted after two hours.

Before buying anything, make sure the foam plugs are actually inserted fully. Rolling them thin and holding them while they expand changed everything.

Speaker placement inside the helmet matters. Moving mine forward less than half an inch made prompts clearer at a lower volume.

    Maintenance before modifications.
