    Look behind the fairings instead of judging the paint. Mixed fasteners, repaired tabs, safety-wire holes, and fresh covers tell a more useful story.

    I ask the seller not to warm it before I arrive. A true cold start plus service records is more valuable than a box of stock parts.

    Maintenance before modifications.
