What inexpensive tool or supply gets used constantly? Mine might be a headlamp, but I am looking to fill the gaps in a basic home-maintenance setup.

Street miles, track lessons.

A magnetic parts tray. It has prevented more lost fairing bolts than anything expensive in my toolbox.

    Smooth is fast enough.

Paint markers for alignment marks and a small notebook for torque values and maintenance dates.

A low-range tire gauge that is easy to read. I use it every ride, which is more than I can say for half my sockets.

    Ride your own pace.
