Trying to set realistic expectations, not start a tire-brand war. Please include bike, riding mix, and whether the front or rear was done first.

Street miles, track lessons.

About 6,500 on a middleweight twin with mostly backroads and highway. The front shoulders looked tired before the rear reached the wear bars.

    Smooth is fast enough.

My literbike gets around 5,000 from a rear, almost double what hypersport rubber gave me. Warm-up and wet grip have been better too.

Pressure checks and throttle habits make comparisons messy. I track mileage for my own bike and treat everyone else's number as a broad range.

    Ride your own pace.
