I only need navigation a few times a month. Concerned about camera stabilization damage and clutter around the steering damper. What has stayed readable and secure?

Street miles, track lessons.

A vibration-isolated stem mount has been fine for two years, but I still use an older phone on long trips instead of risking my primary camera.

    Smooth is fast enough.

Audio prompts cover almost everything for me. The phone stays zipped away and I stop if the route becomes confusing.

Check full lock both directions with the suspension compressed before trusting a mount. Clearance in the garage can disappear on the road.

    Ride your own pace.
