Looking for a two-hour loop from Grand Rapids that avoids the straightest roads and gets back before deer become the main traffic.

    Weekday mornings have been the calmest in my experience. I still plan the route with a fuel buffer and assume shaded sections may be damp.

    Smooth is fast enough.
