How are the usual Angeles Crest sections lately for surface debris and closures? I will check official road status before leaving, just looking for recent rider context.

Weekday mornings have been the calmest in my experience. I still plan the route with a fuel buffer and assume shaded sections may be damp.

Smooth is fast enough.
